He's Alive!

Text: Mat. 28:1-10

Rev. 1:18 "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."

Introduction: We serve a risen Savior this morning. His name Jesus! He is alive forever more! He conquered the grave! He conquered deaths grip! He holds the keys to death and the grave. He’s coming back for his bride, the church.

I. Death is Certain
A. An Appointment
1. Heb. 9:27 " And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
B. Is Natural
C. Preperation

II. The Empty Tomb
A. Could not Hold Jesus
B. Symbol of God's Power
C. Worth Shouting About!

III. Everlasting Life
A. Gift of Life Everlasting
B. Titus 1:2 " In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;"
C. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:11

Conclusion: Jesus died for our sins, but we will not find that forgiveness until we come to Christ and accept what He has done for us personally. Do you know the victory of having your sins forgiven? You can know that wonderful experience today! Now is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation. Will you come?

Christian, are you fulfilling the purpose that God has for your life? Jesus said, "As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you." cf Jn. 20:21 Do you need to come this morning? Let God have His way in your life today.
