Heavenly Homecoming

John 14:1- 6

I. Our attitudes concerning this homecoming? (vs. 1)
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

John 16:22 “And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.”

II. What Will This Homecoming Be Like? (vs. 2)
It will have mansions.
Revelation 21, 22
No more sea 21:1
No more tears, death, sorrow pain or crying 21:4
No more sinners 21:8; 20:14, 15
No More sun or moon 21:23, 22:5
No more sin 21:27; 2 Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
No more disease or injuries 22:2; Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

Isaiah 35:3-6 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. 4Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you. 5Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
No more curse 22:3
Unending water of life 22:1, 6, 22
Unimaginable beauty 1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

III. The assurance of this homecoming. (vs. 3)
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
