Get Up And Do Something For God!

Text: Acts 3:1 - 11

Introduction: When God heals us spiritually we should not keep it to ourselves. We should get all excited and go somebody.

I. Walking
A. Do you walk as men? 1 Cor. 3:3 “For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?”
B. Or, Do you walk with God? Eph. 5:8 “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:”
C. Why is it so important to walk? To get to where you are going. To the Light.

II. Leaping
A. You must walk before you can leap.
B. Is a result of excitement or enthusiasm.
C. Joy in your step.
D. Spring in your step.

III. Praising God
A. Result of a right relationship with God.
B. We have a lot to praise God for.
C. Count your many blessings.
D. Psalms 9:1,2 “I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.”

IV. Get Up!
A. Walk with the Lord
B. Talk with the Lord
C. Get all excited
D. Jump for joy
E. Go tell somebody
F. Praise God
