God’s Call On Your Life

Text: Mark 1:16 – 20 2:13 - 17

Intro: God is calling everyone here this morning. He is here, walking and talking to everyone. If we will listen to Jesus when He calls, we will be lead to do something for Him. Let’s look at some of the various calls on a person’s life.

I. Call Of Salvation – 2:17
He came into the world to call sinners, those who humbly acknowledge their need and receive His gracious forgiveness, to God’s kingdom. This was why Jesus ate with sinners.
A. First and Foremost
B. Having The Right Relationship With God
C. The Highest Calling

II. Call To Pray – 1 Tim. 2:1 - 3
A. For The Saints
B. For The Lost
C. For Those In Authority

III. Call Of Discipleship – v.17
It was the task of the disciple to learn, study, and pass along the sayings and teachings of the master.

Salvation is free, but discipleship costs everything we have.
A. Learner or Pupil
B. Follower
