Healing For A Nation

Text: 2 Tim. 3:1 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”

Introduction: "The purpose of this service is threefold: to pray for the families of the victims, to ask God to give our leaders wisdom in this crisis, and to comfort
and encourage those who are anxious and concerned by these events,"

I believe we are living in the last days. The Lord is coming back very soon for His own. This great horrific tragedy is a wake up call for all Christians. But tonight we need healing and our great country needs healing. We want to remember all of the innocent victims and their families of this crime. Thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil, despicable acts of terror.

II. To A Nation – Rev. 22:2,3 2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
A. Unity – United States of America
B. Solidarity – togetherness – everyone working together - team
C. Harmony – agreeing – common bond

III. To His People
A. Faith In God’s Providence
B. Believing that all things work together for good – something good has come out of this tragedy.
C. Uniting God’s people - Revival

IV. To The Lost
A. Realizing their dependence on God
B. Getting on their knees
C. Praying for salvation
