Jesus Is The Way Maker

Text: Exodus 13:21, 22 & John 14:6

Introduction: Jesus has the power to make a way for us to get to heaven. He made a way for and delivered millions of people over the years. Many times we look at a situation we are in and can not see the way out. Remember Jesus is the way-maker.

I. Jesus Made A Way Out Of Danger
A. He parted the Red Sea for Moses
B. He calmed the sea – Mark 4:39
C. He makes a way for us to have peace in the midst of the storms.

II. Jesus Made A Way Out Of Jail
A. Joseph – Falsely accused. Gen. 39
B. Paul & Silas Acts 16:25 - 34
C. Jesus can set you free from the bondage of sin.

III. Jesus Made A Way Out Of Death
A. Shadrach, Meshach, & Abednigo – Daniel Chapter 3
B. Daniel and the lion’s den – Daniel Chapter 6
C. Jesus made a way out of death for you and me. (Spiritual) Eph. 2:1 “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;”

IV. Jesus Made A Way Out Of A Hopeless Situation
A. Noah and his family. The Ark is a type of Salvation.
B. Gen. 6:8 “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.”
C. We were lost and undone. Doomed. And the Jesus made a way! Praise the Lord!!!!

Conclusion: Jesus Made A Way For You Too! Will you like Noah accept it and obey Him?
