Run! Race! Finish!

Text: Hebrews 12:1,2 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

I. Get Into The Race
A. Get Saved
B. Put On Your Helmet of Salvation
C. Live For God
D. Learn The Rules

II. Get Others in the Race – Luke 14:23 “And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”
A. The more the better
B. More Will Help – Drafting when you get tired.
C. The Witnesses are the spectators cheering you on.

III. Run With Patience
A. Don’t Give Up
B. Don’t Get Tired and quit
C. Take your time.

IV. Finish The Race – Philippians 2:16 “Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.”
A. There is a pay day someday!
B. A Crown of Rejoicing
C. Rewards
