Seven Things That God Does Not Know!

Text: I John 3:20; Acts 15:18; John 21:15-17

Introduction: In these three passages we find that God knows all things.
Would you agree with me this evening that God is omniscient?
In other words let’s say that God is infinite in knowledge!
Maybe we should just put it in plain English, He is ALL Knowing!
God possesses complete and universal knowledge of all things past, present, and future. This includes not only the actual, but also the possible.
I believe that this total and immediate knowledge is based on His eternity (He has always, and will always exist), and His omnipresence (He has been, is, and will always be everywhere at the same time).
Psalm 147:5 "Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite."
Heb. 4:13 " Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and open unto the eyes of him whom we have to do."
1. God Sees All things.
Prov. 15:3 "The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good."
2. He knows all things, the big and the small of his universe. (Ps. 147:4; Matt. 10:29,30;)
Stars are numbered, sand, hairs on our heads.
3. He knows Mankind.
a. Our Thoughts (Ps. 139:2b; 44:21;)
b. Our Words (Ps. 139:4;)
c. Our Deeds (Ps. 139:2,3; Rev. 2:2,9,13,19; 3:1,8,15)
d. Our Sorrows (Ex. 3:7;)
e. Our Needs (Matt 6:32)
f. Our Devotion (Gen 18:17-19; 22:11,12;II Chr. 16:9;)
g. Our Frailties (Ps. 103:14;)
h. Our Foolishness (Ps. 69:5;)
He knows His Own (Jn. 14:10; 2 Tim. 2:19)
4. He knows the past, present, Future Acts 15:18;)
5. He knows what might or could have been. (Matt. 11:23;)
Now that we have established that God knows everything, I want to show you seven thing that God does not know.

Now before you Question what I am about to do, would you consider them first and I will show you without taking scripture out of context and see what the outcome is.

I. God Does Not Know A Sinner That Does Not Need Saving.
Rom. 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"
Rom. 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;
Rom. 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned:

II. God Does Not Know A Sinner That Cannot Be Saved.
II Pt. 3:9 "The Lord is...not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance
Rom. 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Rom. 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
John 6:37 "All That...cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
Acts 16:30,31 " And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..."

III. God Does Not Know A Better Place To Go Except To Heaven.
A. Col. 4:1; Tells us that If you are saved then your Master is in Heaven.
B. Phil. 3:20; Tells us that if you are saved the your citizenship is in Heaven.
C. John 14:1-3; Tells us that if you are saved it is a place being prepared for you.
D. In Rev. 21, John describes Heaven built with precious and expensive things.
Nothing on this earth will have ever been built with such, Men here only desire to have it that way.
IV. God Does Not Know A Worse Place To Go Except Hell.
A. A place of everlasting punishment. Matt. 25:46
B. A place of torment, in Luke 16:23 the rich man was tormented which means great pain came more than in one form.
The Bible depicts the punishment of hell in many different ways.
1. A place of darkness
Matthew says it is a place of outer darkness. People do not like darkness.
In Rev. 14:11, the Bible says that the smoke of their torment ascendeth
up forever and ever and there is no rest.
3. Hell is called a bottomless pit
4. Hell is also a place of writhing worms.
a. Mark 9:38 says, "...where the worm dieth not.
b. Jesus pointed to the valley of Henam and said that’s what hell was like. (worm’s in a dump)
5. There is also memory in hell.
a. Abraham said to the rich man in hell, "Remember."
People in hell have real bodies. Lk. 16:19-28 tells of
1) Eyes.....Vs. 23 (Looked)
2) Tongue...Vs. 24 (Talked)(Wanted Water for it)
3) Mouth....Vs. 24 (Talked)
4) Mind.....Vs. 25 (Remember)
5) ears.....Vs. 25 (Heard)
b. They will Remember the times they could have been saved.
6. It is also a place of gnashing teeth.
There are only two reasons why someone gnashes teeth: Pain & Anger
7. It’s a place of weeping and wailing.
8. It’s a place of real, literal fire.

V. God Does Not Know A Better Place To Worship Him Than In His House.
Heb. 10:25; "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together..."
Acts 2:42-47.

VI. God Does Not Know A Better Time To Get Saved Than Today.

II Cor. 6:2; "For he saith,...now is the accepted time behold, now is the day of salvation. Isa. 49:8; 55:6;
VII. God Does Not Know Any Other Way To Be Saved Than By His Son Jesus.
John 3:15,16;
I John 5:11,12; 20; 13;
