HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE BORN AGAIN

Text: John Chapter 3 & 1 Peter 1:23 

Introduction: The Word of God is very clear on who will go to heaven and have eternal life and who will not. 

I. Being Born Again is Not An Option
A. To Enter Heaven
B. To becoming a Child of God
C. To be forgiven

II. The Danger of Profession Without Faith - Mat. 7:13 - 23
A. Eph. 2:8-10 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
B. Without faith you can not be born again!
C. Being Born Again is the narrow way and few find it!
D. Notice verse 21 "The will of my Father"

III. The Rich Young Ruler - Lacked the Faith - Mark 10:17
A. Was not willing to sacrifice
B. He was not like Abraham or Jesus' disciples
C. His material possessions meant more to him than eternal life

IV. What is your relationship with the Lord?
A. Are you really sure of going to heaven?
B. Are you really living for Christ and for eternity? 
C. Are you working to get last people saved and into heaven?
