Introduction: Today there a literally thousands of people in need of help. If everyone who was in need of help took out a Help Wanted ad in their local paper it wouldn’t fit in the paper box. But if if they did some of the ads might read…
Help Wanted… To get to sleep at night
To feel good again
To go on with my life
To experience peace in my life again
To vent my overwhelming anger
To cope with all of my emotions
To understand what is going on, is this the end
To know if I am going to heaven when I die

I. For Help We Must Look Up – V.1
A. Isa. 55:6,7 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7Let the wicked (lost) forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
B. Mat. 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
C. When we are at the bottom, we have took look up! To a higher Source!

II. For Help We Must Look To God. – V.2
A. Spiritual Help
1. Eph. 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
2. Salvation – Indwelling of the Holy Spirit - Fruit of the Spirit
B. Physical Help – Proverbs 3
C. Financial Help

III. With God’s Help All Things Are Possible – Acts 26:22 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:
A. The impossible
B. He can turn anything around
C. He can move mountains

IV. The Lord Will Preserve You – V.7,8
A. Protection
B. Provider

Conclusion: Can you answer some of the Help Wanted Adds this week. As you look around you will find many who are in need of God’s Help.
